Nepal is a home for the adventure seekers far and wide. Our Highlights of Nepal Trek combines the best of cultural tour, mountain trekking, wildlife safari and grin inducing adventuring in full comfort and style. Choosing the luxury hotels in the town and trekking with the full-fledged facilities of tent camping is the main idea of this trek. Enjoy the hot showers in the remote Himalayas and exceptional meal prepared by our dynamic cooks. This trek is mainly designed for the elderly people who doesn’t like to walk longer hours in a day but at the same time wants to have the best mountain views like in any hard core trekking in the Himalayas. Additionally this trek provided good cultural interaction as it passes through the remote villages of Nepal.

Our journey begins with a sightseeing tour in mystic Kathmandu valley. The valley has a traditional history of about five thousand years. Archaeologically, this valley seems to have been inhabited at least from 1500 BC when the Neolithic civilization began. Kathmandu valley now has seven world heritage cultural sites within a 20 km radius. You will have a time to visit all these World Heritage Sites and understand the local Nepal culture.

Next we enjoy trekking in the foothills of the Annapurna’s. You will be amazed with the diversity in landscape and the culture of the people, all it combines to make Nepal a melting pot of different religion and culture. People live in harmony that makes your visit a welcoming experience of a lifetime. Once you get the taste of Nepal you will become so addicted that you want to come back again and again. It is truly a lure of the Himalayas and the hospitability of the Nepalese people. In this trip, Alps in Nepal organizes five days treks along the foothills of Annapurna, Hiunchuli and Machapuchare mountains. Our route takes us through fascinating villages were the people are very hospitable and practice different cultures and religion including, Hinduism, Buddhism and animism.

For the final leg of our trip, we descend to the sub-tropics, right into the heart of a lush jungle teeming with exotic animals. Our destination is Chitwan National Park which is the finest wildlife sanctuary in entire Asia. The park is situated in subtropical inner Terai lowlands of southern Central part of Nepal in Chitwan District of Narayani zone, covering 932sq.km. Here we get an opportunity to trace a very rare Royal Bengal Tiger and one horned Rhino. The other animals found are leopard, gaurbison, sloth bear, samber deer, chital or spotted deer, hog deer, barking deer, wild dog, wild boar, wild elephant, langur and rhesus monkeys etc. The trip finally ends with a sweet memories of the age old temples and monuments in Kathmandu, the ever smiling Nepalese people that you met in the trail, the beauty of the Pokhara valley and tracing the Royal Bengal tiger and one horned Rhinoceros in exotic Chitwan National Park, all it combines to make it a trip of a life time.

There is an Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) office with a tourist check point. . The view of Machapuchare (Fish Tail) in the background of the village is simply gorgeous.
