DAY 01 : Arrive Cochin
Our office representative will meet you at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02 : Cochin
Visit Cochin and enjoy the real insight of Kerala. Afternoon visit a natural harbour. Visit the Portuguese churches, mosques & Hindu Temples which co-exist amicably in a typical example of Indian secularism.
DAY 03 : Cochin to backwaters
Enjoy backwater cruise. For as far as the eye can see are bountiful spreads of coconut palms, many dotted with men who have clambered up to tap the nectar of the palm. Overnight in Houseboat.
DAY 04 : Backwaters to Periyar
Enjoy backwater cruise
DAY 05 : Periyar to Munnar
Drive to Munnar and check in at hotel. In the afternoon we visit Munnar which is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala.
DAY 06 : In Munnar
Munnar also has the highest peak in south India which is known as Anamudi. It towers over 2695 m. In the recent years it has become a popular spot for trekking.
DAY 07 : Munnar to Ooty
Drive to Ooty. Afternoon sightseeing of Ooty (a famous hill resort of South India) which is known for lofty hills and spectacular scenery. Ooty is also known for its tea and coffee plantations and there are hundreds of tea estates in and around this hill resort.
DAY 08 : Ooty to Mysore
Drive to Mysore. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 09 : Mysore
Visit Mysore Palace, the Indo-Saracenic building which is composed of solid gold throne and a gallery of exquisite paintings. Afternoon time is free for shopping. Mysore is famous for Sandalwood and Silk. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 : Mysore to Hassan
We will reach Hassan in the evening.
Day 11 : In Hassan and drive to Hospet
Explore Hassan. Hassan is a picturesque town in the heart of Malnad with a pleasant climate. It is surrounded by 6 districts namely, Chikmagalur, Mangalore, Madikeri, Mysore, Mandya & Tumkur. In the afternoon drive to Hospet.
Day 12 : Hospet to Badami
Explore Hospet. Hospet is a city in Bellary District in northern Karnataka. It is on the Tungabhadra River, 12 km from Hampi, the site of the ruins of the medieval city of Vijayanagara which was a former capital of the Vijayanagar Empire. Finally we arrive Badami in the evening.
Day 13 : In Badami
Badami is a panchayat town in the Bagalkot District of Karnataka. It is famous for rock cut and other structural temples. It is located in a ravine at the foot of a rugged red sandstone that outcrops the surrounding of Agastya lake.
Day 14 : Badami to Goa
Drive from Badami to Goa.
Day 15 : In Goa
Renowned for its beaches, temples and world heritage sites, Goa is visited by hundreds of thousands of international and domestic tourists each year. It is enriched with rich flora and fauna. Goa is classified as a biodiversity hotspot. It is one of the most developed states in India which enjoys a high standard of living.
Day 16 : Goa to Mumbai
Trip concludes (unless further plans are made).
