Itinerary:

Day 1. In Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu. Your group leader or the office representative will meet you at the airport and will transfer you to Hotel. Remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. Arrangements will be made for the distribution of your kit bag, sleeping bag and down jacket at 5 pm.
Welcome dinner is organized at 6:30 pm in one of the traditional Nepali restaurants and this is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the fellow group members before the trip.

Day 2.  In Kathmandu
In the morning we explore Kathmandu on an organized sightseeing tour visiting Boudhanath and Pusupathi Nath, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world and the most famous Hindu temple in the country.  The early afternoon is free to relax in the spacious hotel garden or you may wish to visit Thamel for any last-minute shopping. In the afternoon you will be supplied with trek departure information.

Day 3. Fly to Pokhara and trek to Bhurjung Khola ( 1219m/ 4000ft)
Your trip starts with your 30-minute flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. During your flight, you will be sightseeing the most magnificent and sensational view of Himalayan range. As your flight lands on Pokhara, you will be mesmerized by the irresistible visual treat of Manaslu and the Annapurna mountain range. After you land to Pokhara our bus will take you to trek starting point via the British Gurkha camp. Today the walk is leisurely. We leave the main road behind and follow the narrow trail through the alder forest. We go past small villages following paddy fields. After walking for 2 and half hours we get to a pleasant spot under the trees where we break for lunch. The path from here to Bhurjung Khola is wide. Before descending to our camp we have a superb view of the valley bottom. Our camp site is a big pasture land not very far from the village.

Day 4. Trek to Ghale Kharka
Next morning we divert from our main trail to do a side trip to a very traditional Gurung village, Ghachok where there are some Ex- British Gurkhas. We then join the main trail. After crossing the river we climb a steep hill which levels off afterwards and then climbs again to Ghale Kharka.

Day 5. Trek to Tara hill
Today the walk is quite strenuous as it is mostly steep climb to Tara Hill. We follow the beautiful rhododendron forests which are in the full blossom in the spring time. From a good vantage point we can see the hills blanketed by the red colour. After walking for 4 hours we have our lunch on the way. The walk after lunch is still uphill but the worst bit is just before we get to our camp as the trail climbs up steeply to the top of the ridge of Tara Hill. Although the walk is very hard we are compensated by the breath taking view of the mountains all around us. We can see the whole of Annapurna Range along with the Lamjung Himal.

Day 6. Trek to Parje
After leaving the camp site we start heading downhill following similar kind of vegetation as the previous day. Along the trail we will see Daphne which gives a lovely fragrance when they flower. As we keep heading downhill we join the main trail to Siklish and leave off the beaten track. After a while we will have our lunch near a small hut. The trail continues down hill gently to Parje which is another beautiful campsite with plenty of room for a big number of tents. The view from the camp of the Annapurna Range and Siklish village in the fore ground is stunning. In the evening the trekkers are entertained by the Ama Toli ( Mothers Group) who perform a traditional Nepali songs and dances and the money collected from the tourist is used for renovating trails and help the education system of the area.

Day 7. Trek to Sabi
From Parje we head down to Sabi Khola which is our next camp. After we leave the camp it is steep down hill to the bottom of the river bed so it can be hard on the knees. There is a plenty of opportunity to see different kind of birds on this part of the trail. In the night we sleep to the sound of the river.

Day 8. Trek to Thulo Kot
After following the trail to the right bank of the river for 2 and a half hours we stop for lunch. After that we start climbing uphill to Thulo Kot. We camp just below the ridge even though the camp on the top is better looking. The main reason for that is the strong wind in the night time which has blown away our tents in the past.

Day 9. Trek to Begnas Lake
After we set off we start a steep but short climb to the top of the ridge after which the trail meanders down the valley bottom and to Begnas lake. We are often greeted by the beautiful scarlet minivet and white breasted King Fisher. After we get to our camp at Begnas we organize a farewell party in the evening.

Day 10. To Pokhara
Boat across the lake and then drive to Pokhara. Overnight in hotel.

Day 11. PKR to KTM
Early morning fly to Kathmandu .Our office representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Remaining of the afternoon is at leisure to rest, perhaps catch up on some last minute shopping or enjoy the sightseeing. In the evening if you wish to go for a last dinner with the group then you are welcome. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Once experienced they can never be forgotten, never dismissed from memory whether ones experience of them is visiting age-old Hindu temples, Buddhist monasteries and royal palaces with amazing sculptures, paintings, legends and living rituals. Nepal is not only regarded as "Shangri-la" for adventurers but a scenic revelation and an educational in itself to all visitors. Once seen they become a part of you, habit-forming and intrusive.
