Nepal is a land of diversity where the majestic Himalayas dominate the northern region while the southern lowlands known as the Terai is covered with dense tropical jungles teeming with various wild life and exotic birds. This area is a home to animals such as Asiatic rhino, Royal Bengal tiger, leopard, spotted deer, hog deer, sambar, wild boar, sloth bear, reptiles and around 250 species of birds. In order to protect these endangered animals, birds and the environment they live in, various wildlife parks have been established. Among them the Royal Chitwan National Park is the most popular one. This Park is said to be one of the best- managed National Parks in Asia. There are various lodges inside with good accommodation and restaurant facilities. They offer many interesting activities such as jungle drive, elephant safari, nature walk, canoe ride, bird watching, slide show, tribal dance and elephant bathing which is always the main highlight. |

Alps in Nepal organizes in two of the rivers Trisuli and Seti. Each rivers has its own charm and beauty. Only thing is about the accessibility. While you are traveling from Kathmandu to Chitwan then Trisuli is preferable as it is close by and while traveling from Pokhara then Seti is an easy access.
